On the Easel: Painting the Busy Bee
Welcome to the first post in our new segment, On the Easel, where we take you along with us as Susan paints. You’ll get to see the process that Susan goes through and see her techniques, whether it’s in watercolour or oils. From there we’ll show you what we use the artwork for, whether that’s notecards, greetings cards, or something special. We hope you enjoy these videos and let us know what you’d like to see.
In this first video, Susan is painting one of our much-loved bees, the Busy Bee. Drawn in pencil and then painted in watercolour. While small, this painting is a stand-out piece that many people are drawn to, due to its friendly nature.
